Çocuğunuza Eğlenerek Diş Fırçalama Alışkanlığı Kazandırmanın 10 Altın Kuralı

Our doctors told us about fun and easy ways to get children into brushing their teeth.

We all know the phrase "man is at 77 what he is at 7". This term, which is widely used among the people, is actually based on a scientific fact. Our doctors pointed out that children should acquire the habit of brushing their teeth at a young age, otherwise it is very difficult to acquire this habit in the following years.

“Children's milk teeth erupt between 6 months and 3 years of age. This is followed by a mixed set of teeth between the ages of 6-12. These two periods are the most active period of development. Since the enamel is immature when the teeth first come out, they are extremely susceptible to decay. It is extremely important in this period to give children the habit of brushing their teeth.

We recommend the following for parents to entertain their children with the habit of brushing their teeth:

Children do not have the competence to comprehend the knowledge and importance of dental caries. All responsibility in this matter falls on the parents. Brush your teeth with your child up to 6 years old. You are your child's role model. Your child, who sees you brushing their teeth, will want to brush their own teeth too.
Pick up the toothbrush and toothpaste with your child. The child who buys the brush and paste he likes will be eager to use it. If your child wants to brush their teeth because they like the taste of toothpaste, never let them swallow the toothpaste. If you cannot avoid this habit, reduce the amount of paste as much as possible, which should normally be equal to lentils.
If possible, get multiple brushes and pastes and ask them to brush their teeth by making different choices each time they brush. Asking him to make a choice will also improve your child's decision-making and self-confidence mechanism.
The child likes to watch himself in the mirror. Have him brush his teeth in front of the mirror. While brushing, you can sing or listen to a favorite song along with his movements.
Having a fun 2-minute hourglass in front of your bathroom mirror while brushing will give your child the habit of brushing their teeth for exactly 2 minutes.
Mouthwash after brushing will allow you to clean the places that the toothbrush cannot reach and will entertain your child.
Also, keep weekly or monthly brushing cards for you and your child next to your bathroom mirror. Make positive marks on the report card at each brushing and reward your child for a successful report card.
After eating chocolate, candy, sweets, etc. with your child, look at your teeth in the mirror and be informed that these food particles sticking to your teeth will rot them.
Have your child watch age-appropriate animations about bruises, prepared for children.
Never threaten to take your child to the dentist for the fact that his teeth will rot if he never brushes his teeth. On the contrary, take your children to the dentist, even if they are healthy, and make sure that they are well done. This will motivate your children to brush their teeth.
We wish healthy teeth and happy tomorrows to all children, who are the elders of tomorrow and the guarantee of the future, and we celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

The world is beautiful with children.”
